Past the Expiration Date was a murder mystery I created for Bracken when they got a call to provide entertainment for a food service company's year end party.
Since it was for a food service company, I decided to create a food based murder mystery. Since Emeril Lagasse was at the height of his popularity at the time, I decided to make the play about a chef called Amoural LaCrossey who made a bunch of enemies on his way to the top.
The mystery proved so popular with the actors and the audience, that we brought it back for another year end party for another organization a year or two later.
