I don't know how much I had to do with this one. This was another murder mystery that was done for charity, a music center in Binghampton, New York. It was the second murder mystery the Bracken Theater Company did for that charity.
As I recall, the charity wanted a wedding theme and Karen Padden came up with the idea of an Italian/Polish wedding. I think Karen asked if I had any idea for character names. I remember sitting and waiting to take some tests in a hospital and coming up with the names for the lead characters. The men would be the Italian side, the groom and the best man would be brothers. Their names were Sonny "Red" Lambrusco and Alfredo "Whitey" Lambrusco. The bride and the maid of honor would be Polish and sisters. Their names would be Ima Buddinski and Lora (pronounced You're a) Buddinski. I came up with some other characters, some backstories that may or may not have been used, and the rest was up to Karen.
So, by the slimmest of margins, this counts as a production I co-wrote. Sorta. Kinda.
